Alleged Live-Action Adaptation of the Day: Long story short, Shogun Gamer was tipped off by an anonymous reader to a live-action Pokémon adaptation that is supposedly in the works.

The reader, “Professor Oak,” claims he had been invited to a “secret movie trailer screening” where he and 30 other random folks were shown a three-minute-long trailer for a Pokémon movie, of which he only managed to grab the last 30 seconds.

The whole thing smacks of hoax, but the scenario is not unheard of. The trailer looks legit, if a bit screwball-ish. Maybe a fan film?

What say you?
